Second round of stimulus payments are now being delivered

12/31/2020 Banking

The IRS and Treasury are now delivering the second round of stimulus payments. Just as the previous payments, Southern Security is not able to determine when these funds will be deposited. The fastest way for you to see if your check has been deposited will be to visit your online banking account via southernsecurity.org or by our mobile app.

The IRS also has a FAQ page that can be found here.

Ways to access your Southern Security account:

  • southernsecurity.org
  • Southern Security mobile banking app
  • MoneyTalk at 901-458-7283
  • Video Banking
  • Member Services can be reached at 901-452-7900

We are experiencing a high volume of calls at this time so please expect delays.

*If your account was closed prior to the disbursement we can reopen your account with a $15 fee.

From the IRS“Some Americans may see the direct deposit payments as pending or as provisional payments in their accounts before the official payment date of January 4, 2021. The IRS reminds taxpayers that the payments are automatic, and they should not contact their financial institutions or the IRS with payment timing questions.”
