Southern Security Donates $10,000 to Youth Villages

Southern Security Federal Credit Union’s donation is part of a community partnership with Youth Villages to support their mission

 

MEMPHIS, Tenn., February 21, 2023 – Southern Security, a not-for-profit financial cooperative whose mission is to help its members financially, announced a recent donation of $10,000 to Youth Villages as part of a community partnership to support the organization’s programs.

 

“We are honored to be able to offer this support to Youth Villages as they care for children, who are the future of our communities,” said Dawn Graeter, President and CEO of Southern Security. “We hope this partnership can assist this organization’s impactful work in advocating for local youth and restoring families.”

 

Southern Security’s contribution will support Youth Villages’ mission of helping children and families live successfully. The donation will also be used for the Holiday Heroes donation drive, the Soup Sunday event, and to provide backpacks for the Backpack Heroes Program. The 34th Annual Soup Sunday donation drive will be held on February 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Kent.
